No this is nothing to with bicycles it is all about recycling.
This is really good you just have to take a look and you will see what I mean. There is a Freecycle in your area.
It is a brilliant site you can give away all usable items that you no longer want or need to someone who does want or need it. The only rule is that the item has to be given freely no money changes hands.
It works like this for example you have a box of books romance and lets say a load of plant pots say 30 taking up space in the shed.
Put up OFFERED a box of books all romance ( put your area)
then another message with OFFERED 30 plastic plant pots various sizes ( put your area)
Then await the emails, send a reply to one and they will come round to your address and take the item.
You get rid of something you don't need and have saved it from the landfill you have now freecycled.
Once the item is gone you put up a message saying TAKEN box of books romance ( put your area) it is that simple.
I put up an item and got 18 replies the same day I answered the first email and someone came round that day to get it. I sent an email to each person telling them the item was gone I thought it only polite to do so.
You can also request items so it works both ways.
I put up WANTED wood to make raised vegetable beds anything like old pallets, floorboards, scaffolding boards I live in Springfield.
I got a reply the same day and collected a load of wood that was going to be dumped all for the sake of putting up a message and collecting it.
We even got some really good HiFi speakers that someone was offering it is really amazing what you can find.
There are toys, sofas, fridge freezers, clothes, book cases you name it you will find it there.
