Well he's an expert in getting people writing haiku etc and encouraging people, so he won't be evil He was part of a project holding workshops on our local estate getting people to write a communal pome.

I used to be part of a community group called The Eye and the Egg when we lived in Leyland. We had an artist there who encouraged the children to make a mural and we had someone to enocourage them to write poetry as well. We ( my husband and myself plus one other member) ran the Computer Club, Boys Club, ( the girls already had a club) Tuck Shop, Gardening Club, Monthly News magazine, and ended up doing the Fruit and Veg shop as well. People put there order in for what they wanted that week we would get it from the delivered from the local farm shop, price up the fruit and veg accordingly, weigh out the orders, bag everything up and then people could collect it from the local centre. It was cheaper than getting if from the shops and was used a lot by the elderly and those on low incomes. We had a lot of people to start with but in the end we had 3 of us to do the lot ( 4 on paper as one person did nothing except turn up for meetings) I liked to artist stuff, poetry and the gardening club best, much more fun, the rest was hard work.
