I have received this email from the Millenium Green Trust 'Sorry not to have replied earlier, but I have been away on holiday. I was so pleased to hear that you would like to help with the Millennium Green project. We do have 'clean-up days' about twice a year but it would be lovely if we could rely on a small group of local volunteers to do a regular walk around to pick up litter etc. The community wardens keep some anti-graffili cleaning materials, and i am sure they will lend us what is needed. We would welcome some help in cleaning the sculpture. Could you ring me, and we could arrange a day to meet there and clean it.' ;D Here's what the sculpture and seating looks like, except at the moment it is covered in far more graffiti than in this pic:- I've been thinking that I'll ask Margaret of the Millenium Green Trust to join me for a picnic/pint/some kind of grub after we have tackled the sculpture. So anyone is welcome to join us at any point If anyone has a date that is best for them please suggest it. Be good if we could do it while the weather is quite mild. Love Kath

It's almost like the olden days when I have heard that paganism may have had something to do with eco-activism
