BKW Lesson 8
Making a Magical Meal
This lesson will be the assignment as well.
Now that you have found out about the meanings of various foods and worked on finding ways to add meaning to meals by adding symbols, colours and numbers I want you think about making a meal with meaning.
Think about adding aroma and even music to create ambiance.
The meal can be anything you like, you don’t have to spend a fortune and it can be as simple or as complex as you like. Remember that you do not have to make everything for the intent you want you can have just one thing that is for your intent. For example I want to create Harmony with my meal.
Teatime Treats
I could have this cake recipe as the main dish with other foods to support.
Cheese scones = Joy, Sausage rolls = zest, Potato Salad = Health, Ham = Dramatic energy, Bread rolls = Kinship, Butter = Smoothing relationships.
Lemon Cakes
4oz butter = smoothing relationships
4oz caster sugar = love
2 eggs beaten = fertility
4oz self raising flour = consistency
Zest and juice of half a lemon = joy
Lemon curd = faithfulness
Along with this I could have 2 Orange candles
2 = Balance and Partnership
Orange = Warmth and Compassion
Whilst preparing the recipe I could stir the mixture twice to enhance balance or draw a pentagram twice into the mixture.
I could have either Lemon oil or Cinnamon burning to create an ambiance of harmony.
Here are a few ideas to get you thinking.
A Night with Friends
Have a group of friends around for an evening in watching a DVD if you like. You can order in a Pizza and make up some dips yourself have your friends bring round some potato chips and maybe a bottle of wine.
You can always enhance your intent with the pizza in the kitchen by cutting it up and putting it onto a plate thinking of your intent. Add the number of coloured candles or coloured scented candles and you have a meal with meaning.
A Romantic meal
You don’t have to go mad with this and you don’t need a reason like an anniversary either. A simple meal with a few candles soft music and the aroma is a real treat for you and your partner. I have even made a simple meal of Chicken and salad into a romantic meal.
Picnic LunchThe children are full of energy and you want to relax at lunch time. Why not get the children to help out making the lunch and make it fun to do. Get them to little things that their age group can master I the kitchen. Mine liked beating things or putting things on sticks and helping make a salad.
Raining!! Not a problem have the picnic indoors and put on a film they like afterwards they will love it.
An adult version is nice as you can go to a park and enjoy the scenery.
Colour is added with the food and meaning is created by using numbers.
Weekend Breakfast/Brunch
Prepare ahead of time and enjoy a leisurely meal with the family or just you and your partner.
Have the In-Laws or Family round
If family or In-Laws live close by invite over for a meal or a BBQ.
When you have decided what you want to do I want you to:
1) Write down what you will be doing.
2) What the intent of the meal is e.g. Harmony, Health, Prosperity, Love
3) How you intend to create ambiance.
4) Actually make the meal and tell me the reaction is and how you felt about the whole experience.
Remember you do not have to make a huge meal keep it simple even a sandwich with potato chips can be made special.
