In what began just after midnight on June 6, 1944, British, American, and Australian forces, along with some French forces began the invasion on what the Third Reich called Fortress Europe culminating with the landings along the Normandy coast, in what most remember as The Longest Day.
Lets take a moment to remember those great, brave men who took part in this huge air, sea, and land invasion; and to thank those elder veterans, still alive today, for their incredible spirit and determination.
We Salute You!
