Ok I have been away from this borad for ages and have been busy doing all sorts of things. Planning for Yule is something I love and this year we are off to the German Market in Birmingham on the 26th November. So does anyone know what we will see there? What it is like? and how far it is from the shopping centre? Both my husbanad and myself have problems with walking and use canes ( walking sticks). Standing around is painful and we wondered if there is anywhere that you get to so we can sit down a spell. We have been told you can to the shopping centre but have no idea where it is in relation to theGerman Market that will be there. Any hints or tips would be great.

Hi, the Market is going to be at one end of new street and on victoria square. There are wooden benches all the way along new street and around the square, they also put chairs and tables up on the square when the Market's on so you can sit and have a drink and something scrumptious to eat. I will even meet you for a bit for tour guide service if you would so like Any excuse to visit the scrumptious market. I hope you enjoy it and I think you will, Love Kath P.S. How's the englewitch site doing, I think it was a shame wolvesragnarok went I liked it.

Hi Kath I sent you a PM hope to hear from you soon. The other board is slow but still going. I liked the other board but understand why it was closed down. It is a shame but then pwoplw only have a certain amount of time to spread around and cannot make it stretch. I know I could with stretching it some days lol

For me my ideal sausage is one that has plenty of flavour not too spicy I don't want the spices to out do the meat along with a hint of something sweet, if it has garlic in it that is even better.
I used to like Pork and Leek or the ones with apple in them and I used to have the ones with garlic as well can't spell the name of them though, but not being able to eat wheat I go for the German sausages. They are just perfect no matter what they have in them they seem to get the flavouring just right.
So I guess the perfect sausage for me is a German one no matter what it contains as I can eat it.
