With all this mild weather we are having I have plants that are in bloom that should be dormant here is what I have. Fushia in a tub Fushia in the ground Clematis Nasturium All taken today 23rd November 2006 Where do I live? Cornwall? Devon? or some other warmer county no Buckinghamshire Milton Keynes. I even have snowdrops that come up but not flowered well not yet anyway. All the plants above should be dormant now and as for Nasturiums they should not be around at all. So what is different in your garden this year?

Hi I don't garden but I'll point this thread out to Baz and ask what his has been like. Sounds very bold!

On the local news today they showed that they could still find a raspberry and a new born butterfly in Brum, it's been so mild

All that's out at the moment is a Mahonia (Media, winter sun). There is, or course, all the usual ivy and assorted evergreens.
My nasturtium is still flowering too, the first strong frosts will knock that down though. Which I think is not too bad considering my little garden has an awful North West facing aspect.
My compost is, 'cooking' well though thanks to the mild weather we've been enjoying so far this winter
