Hi I am back and my computer is now fixed. I managed to get some emails done my going to the library and using their computers for half an hour as you get 30 mins free on the internet before you start paying. Not long when you have loads of people to contact. The last few months have been expensive ones it all started with my kettle not working then the Printer packed up, the VCR broke, the DVD packed up ( On Christmas Day of all days yup this Christmas) and the computer broke down. Thankfully the computer was still in warranty so no expense there just the frustration of not being able to use it.
Yule was lovely and I had a great time and ate too much so the diet went out the widow. I will have to get back on track and do something about my weight in 2007.

BRILL TO HAVE YOU BACK! The last few months have been expensive ones it all started with my kettle not working then the Printer packed up, the VCR broke, the DVD packed up ( On Christmas Day of all days yup this Christmas) and the computer broke down. Grrr things like that r so evil I bought an old fashioned kettle you put on the hob, there's no element or anything in it so hopefully it will not die All of this must've been all you needed in the run-up to xmas as well. I think we r all in that position wulfcwen. Maybe we could have an diet bit on the board I did weightwatchers a year or so ago and it was brill, I'd recommend it. I've kept it off too. You only really need to go once to get the book etc then you can do it on your own to save the cost of meetings. You can also do it via the internet. Anyway I'll get to work on the new board. Love Kath

Ouch, life without a computer in the house. What a nightmare, I could not cope without mine.

Trust me no computer here was no fun either, DH plays games on it most of the day blowing up stuff mainly. He also plays games like Pharaoh, Zoo Tycoon and one where you build a Roman city but maily he blows stuff up. Me I go on forums, look up stuff I am interested in and get inspiration for my ATC stuff. I too play the odd game or two Pharaoh and puzzle games are my thing oh and send emails of course. I am sick of the TV as it has been on non stop so I am pleased the computer is back. I can blank out 'Fire at will' and stuff being blown up and read whilst WWII is going on but the TV is more intrusive. No I can't go upstairs we are in a flat and the bedroom is too darn close to the living room to blank out the TV. So I am a happy bunny again my computer works
