Has any one looked through their High school year books and reminisced about the good and bad times in school?

I don't think we had a year book. But I sometimes go on www.friendsreunited.com and read what people are upto now. Most of them make their lives sound awe-inspiring though, so I don't know whether they are lying or if the people who are unemployed etc just don't write anything

The friendsreunited site self selects. Only people who've done well are going to 'brag' about it. Out of a class of thirty or so you'd expect one or two to do well (as measured by society at large, which may not be the same as mine). It's the one or two who've done well who tend to go on that site. You don't hear from those who have, 'failed'.

No year book but I did go to a reunion. That was different meeting all those people who had once been in my class. I even met the three who had bullied me for 4 years and made my life miserable. They came up to me and yes it made me feel as if I was right back there as their victim. They apologised to me and said they were very sorry for having made my life so miserable. One had a daughter who was being bullied, one a daughter who was a bully and the third was getting a divorce from a man who had bullied her. Whats that saying what goes around comes around!!! I was sorry that the one who had an abusive husband had such an experience as I too had divorced an abusive control freak. There were the ones who had made a success of things lording over those who had not as usual. Some I recognised and others I did not. Would I go again? No not really I have nothing in common with any of them and never did I was a loner and prefered it that way. Experience taught me to stay on my own. I left early as I realised I had nothing to say to any of them I only went in the first place for something to do.

I've looked through mine a few times. I really don't have that much of a desire to remeber my high school years. The last time I brought them out was to show my finace the pictures I took.
I don't do reunions. The people I want to keep in touch with, I talk to. God, I'm such the anti-social butterfly aren't I?

I did recently get back in touch with a boy I knew when I was seven! He is a gay now and I read all his gay adventures on his Livejournal
